The Search for Earth's Purest Water Started With a Family Decision.
In 1999, the Muhr family made a decision: no more sugary drinks. Just water, the best they could find. So they looked. They tested everything commercially available. They hired scientists, water experts, and nutritionists to define exactly what ideal drinking water should look like. Eight parameters. The gold standard.
Then they ran every water on the market against it.
Nothing passed.
Not a single commercially available water met the criteria. So rather than compromise, they did the only logical thing: they hired hydrogeologists and launched a global search for a source that nature had already perfected. Six years later, in the Austrian Alps, the homeland they had left, they found it. An artesian aquifer 700 feet below the Dachstein, in a UNESCO-protected landscape, producing water that met every parameter. Exactly as it was. Untouched.
57 permits later, Hallstein was born.

Today Hallstein Water delivers its premium artesian water to a wide range of countries across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Hallstein Water delivers to most of North America, including the continental U.S., Hawaii, Alaska (with a surcharge), and mainland Canada. In Europe, it ships to most countries, including Austria, Germany, France, the UK, and Italy. Delivery is now also available in Singapore, with bulk orders possible for other regions upon request.
