Hallstein, the World’s Finest Artesian Water Partners with Operation Water for “Lifetime of Clean Drinking Water” Program
March 1, 2021 - Luxury subscription-only Hallstein Artesian Water, the most sustainable and high-quality drinking water in the world, announces its 2021 World Water Day collaboration with global non-profit Operation Water to strengthen its long-term partnership building infrastructure to deliver clean drinking water to communities in Mozambique. Together, this collaboration resolves to lead the effort to end the global water crisis.
"For World Water Day this year, we are proud to announce our alliance with Hallstein Water, who has increased its support to ensure a future of sustainable water for all,” noted Ryan Phillips-Page, Founder & CEO of Operation Water. “Hallstein Water has committed a generous donation of every annual subscription to Operation Water during our month-long World Water Day campaign. In addition, Hallstein has kindly agreed to donate funding for an additional family's supply per new subscription to their services. We are grateful for Hallstein’s support, and look forward to our continued team efforts in ending the water crisis in Mozambique."
Can you imagine walking an average of 3.7 miles a day just to collect clean, drinkable water? It is a reality for 72% of households relying on women and children to fetch and haul the family’s water when there is no source in the home. The grim truth is that 663 million people, roughly 9% of the global population, lack access to improved drinking sources, with 48% of those living in sub-Saharan Africa. Operation Water collaborates with philanthropists and social impact investors such as Hallstein Water to fight the water crisis by delivering infrastructure solutions throughout the world that will provide clean water access to the most amount of people at the lowest cost per person.
During the month of March, Hallstein Water is increasing its donations to Operation Water with an additional $22 for every new subscription and leading up to World Water Day (March 22). Remarkably, $22 will provide a lifetime supply of clean water to one person in the regions in which Operation Water has launched. The “Lifetime of Clean Drinking Water” program is a bold yet simple opportunity to fight the global water crisis.
20 years ago, the Austrian-American Muhr family searched for a completely natural water source with the incredibly rare combination of naturally high pH (8.3) and only trace amounts of sodium (0.15ml). Using a core parameter list created with the help of nutritionists and hydration experts, they thought it had to exist in nature. And after a years-long global search, they essentially found it in their own backyard. The unique limestone found in Dachstein mountain creates the environment to make Hallstein Water not only the world's most delicious and purest tasting water, but completely unfiltered, untreated, uncompromised, and perfected by nature.
“We are proud to support Operation Water, a nonprofit committed to providing sustainable water solutions to communities in Mozambique,” noted Alexander Muhr, CEO of Hallstein Artesian Water. “The ongoing issues that arise for communities without access to clean drinking water are vast and can impact every aspect of life. Our family and our company are passionate about working toward ending water inequities and focusing on sustainable efforts to solve these pressing issues for future generations.” To support this initiative https://www.hallsteinwater.com/philanthropy

About Hallstein Water
Hallstein Water emanates from an artesian aquifer, 700ft (214m) deep in a layer of rock beneath Dachstein mountain, in the Hallstatt-Salzkammergut region of Upper Austria. The water in the aquifer arrives thereafter an 8-10 year journey beginning as raindrops in the mountains above, then filtering through layers of the highest quality limestone unique to this region, and is protected from pollution and contamination by layers of earth called a Glacial Moraine. The Hallstein ‘Octagon’ defines the 8 key parameters that comprise the highest quality drinking water in the world. Hallstein Water is subscription-based and delivered directly to homes, offices, hotels, or restaurants as unfiltered, unprocessed, and unaltered as it is at the source.
